Receive Notifications Based On Your Location Preferences
Only want notifications for events in a certain country or territory? We got you!
Overview
By default, all accounts receive notifications for events worldwide. However, you can customize your preferences to only get notifications for events in specific locations - this feature works exceptionally well if your job is based in a specific region or territory.
Setting Up Location Preferences
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Access Account Settings
- Log in to Artist Growth from a web browser
- Click your User Profile in the top right navigation
- Select Account Settings
- Navigate to Notifications
- Find the Notifications section
- Look for Set territories for event notifications
- You'll see a default territory with a pencil icon
- Edit Your Territories
- Click the pencil icon to edit
- Start typing the countries or locations you want notifications for
- Click Save when finished
Using Presets
For convenience, you can select a Preset to automatically choose all territories within a specific region.
Important: Selecting a Preset will replace any existing territory selections you've made.
Current Limitations
Please note these current restrictions:
- Custom Locations: You'll still receive notifications for events using custom location names (not tied to specific countries)
- Activity Feed: Location preferences don't apply to the Activity Feed
- Push Notifications: Mobile push notifications aren't filtered by location
- Calendar Views: All events remain visible in calendar views regardless of location settings
