Timeline: Help Guide

Timeline: Help Guide

The Timeline feature provides a visual overview of all your artist projects and events side by side, helping you stay organized and track important dates at a glance.

What Shows Up on the Timeline

For events and projects to appear on your timeline, they must meet one key requirement:

Both a start date AND an end date must be specified to provide an accurate view.

Getting Started with Timeline

View All Artists, Favorited Artists or any Workspace

  1. Choose "All Artists" or "Favorited Artists" or any of your custom Workspaces
  2. Click the Timeline
  3. This displays projects and events for all artists in your system

View a Specific Artist

  1. Click on the artist you want to focus on
  2. Then click Timeline to view only that artist's events and projects

Customizing Your Timeline View

Filter by Categories

In the upper right corner of the timeline page, you can filter your view by:

  • Location - See events in specific locations
  • Market - Filter by market segments (US radio markets)
  • Event Type - Show only certain types of events
  • Status - View events by their current status

Change Time Scale

Adjust how much time is visible on your timeline:

  • Day - Detailed daily view
  • Week - Weekly overview
  • Month - Monthly planning view
  • Quarter - Quarterly business planning
  • Year - Annual overview

Tips for Best Results

  • Always ensure your events and projects have both start and end dates entered
  • Use the time scale filters to focus on the planning period that matters most to you
  • Combine category filters to narrow down to exactly what you need to see
  • Switch between individual artist views and the all-artists view depending on your planning needs

The Timeline feature helps you visualize scheduling conflicts, plan ahead, and get a clear picture of your artistic activities across any time period.
