Understanding Project Templates

Project templates help you maintain consistency and save time by preserving effective project setups as reusable blueprints.

What Templates Do:

  • Preserve effective project setups as reusable templates for consistent workflow organization
  • Maintain a collection of tested project layouts for efficient setup of similar recurring initiatives

Template vs Project:

  • Template = Master Blueprint - Contains the base structure, description, and standard tasks that serve as the foundational framework
  • Project = Instance/Branch of the Template - Uses the template as its starting point and inherits the template's description and tasks
